MouthShut.com, a product reviews portal, has launched a SMS-based service that enables users to send quick review of a product or service in 160 characters through their mobile phones.
To use the service, one would need to send an SMS to 56767 with the first two characters in the message being ‘MS’ followed by the review. Once the message has been sent successfully, it would appear on the MouthShut homepage.
According to MouthShut.com, a team monitoring this service will identify genuine product reviews and categorise the messages along with all the other reviews of the product on the site.
MouthShut.com’s CEO Faisal Farooqui, who recently described micro-interactions as the future of social media on internet, says the company has launched MouthShut Mobile Service as yet another way to review a product or service on the site.

This is an useless service and if someone applauds it will be the mobile companies as it might help in some revenue for them hoping it will be popular. I have seen the messages that appears on mouthshut homepage and the are like somebody's omlette is burned and someone's dog delivered 5 pups etc. Now coming to the team it is ridiculous to have a team for this job, even 1 hour per day would be more than enough. Mr Faruki has a habit of exaggeration and one should discount 90-95 % of any statement coming from Mouthshut or Mr Faruki. Well, if they really want to do something good, let them give up deleting reviews at least :)
Hi,
It is very good news for mobile user. Now they can send product review on any product instantly.
