Rediff Trains FareSearch allows users to check for train seat availability

Rediff.com has launched Trains FareSearch that allows users to check for train seat availability, fares, PNR status, and schedule of trains including arrival and departure status.

According to Rediff, the new service also enables users to get a comparative view of the lowest airfare for the chosen rail route within the same search query.

Once a user has confirmed the destination and date of travel the Trains FareSearch offers him options to book the tickets either through the IRCTC website or through travel agents whose details are provided on the Rediff site.

Rahul, but you can search for the trains first at the same platform where flight searches are done, i think thats good news from rediff.

Nothing new!! Still you need to go IRCTC for Booking.
